In my previous post , I have already talked about some of the new launches from Lakme India. They introduced this new Illuminating range at Lakme Fashion Week 2016. Lakme Absolute Illuminating Shimmer Brick is one of them. I am not that big fan of shimmering bricks but I thought of giving it a try. There was another reason of trying it . It was a limited edition blush palette , designed by fashion designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee.
Lakme Absolute Shimmer Brick is available in two different variants : Coral and Pink. As I am an ardent pink lover, I selected to buy the pink one.
Price : Rs. 725/-
Net Weight : 10 gm
About The Product
The Illuminate Look is the latest trend marching on most international runways this season. The Lakme Absolute Illuminating Shimmer Brick is a blush palette with a hint of shimmer. It gives a soft glow to your face.
The Illuminating blush palette is absolutely beautiful to look at. It consists of a black , sleek packaging with a plastic case cover. It has four shades of blush colors. There is no mirror or brush attached to it which is quite a drawback. You can find the shade name and all other details on the back of the case and also on the outer carton.
It has four colors , designed in a wavy fashion. Starting from top, it has one pink, champagne, bronzy and one peachy pink shade. The texture is very smooth and it gives a soft and glowy look after application. The shimmer is not chunky at all. It does not look over the top after you apply it on your cheeks.
Good Things About It :
- Great Pigmentation
- Smooth Texture
- Shades are perfect for Indian skin tone
What’s not so Good :
1. It could have a mirror to make it more travel-friendly
For now, it has been released a limited edition, but I wish Lakme would make it permanent. You can grab it in here :
In the above picture, you can see me , applied the shimmer brick and it gives such a nice flush of colors on the cheeks. Hope you like my little post .
See you soon
