Hello everyone, today I will be sharing some of the new releases from Maybelline New York. Maybelline has been always my favourite makeup brand for the cheaper price rate and wider range of products. Recently, they have come out with ‘Fit Me’ Range and Lip Gradation by Colorsensational. I have purchased a blush from ‘Fit Me’ range and a lip gradation pencil in the shade ‘Fuchsia1’
First, I will start with the blush which is in the ShadeMedium Nude (208)
- Price: Rs 400
- Net Weight: 4.5 gm
The blush comes in a plastic packaging with a brush. I wish it would come along with a mirror!! The brush is not so good in quality but however, does the job.
The color of the blush is a dusty coral pink color that would suit most of the skin types. It has a small amount of shimmer in it. This would give a highlighter effect on your cheeks as well.
The texture is smooth but the color appears on your skin only after multiple applications. It stays for about 2-3 hours
Coming to Maybelline New York Lip gradation by Colorsensational (popularly known as colorblurr in USA). I have the shade Fuchsia 1.
- Price: Rs 500
- Net Weight: 1.25 gm
This comes in a stick form with a sponge applicator on the top of it. It is a retractable pencil and the sponge tip is for the ombré effect that it would give if you want. This kind of application is very popular in Korean fashion.
Fuchsia 1 is the brightest color in this whole range of 8 colors that are available. This is a bright pink with purple undertones to it. These are matte in texture and glides smoothly on your lips. It does not transfer much and also does not bleed. This stayed on my lips for 4-5 hours without meal and you don’t really feel that you have a lipstick on your lips. How cool is that!!
So, that’s it for my February make up review ……………….Hope you enjoy the post.
See you soon.
