I normally use herbal-based shampoo and conditioner to tame my combination to dry hair. Though I have shoulder-length hair, but it sorts of frizzy and dull.Recently, Garnier has come up with ultra blends range which has five variants for all different types of hair.
This range includes –
- Henna and Blackberry
- Soy and almonds
- Royal jelly & Lavender
- 5 precious herbs and
- Mythic olive
Among these, I chose the 5 precious herbs one.Read on for the review :
The shampoo costs Rs. 120/- for 175 ml and the conditioner costs Rs. 75/- for 75 ml.
This ultra blends formula is a blend of 5 precious herbs – Green Tea, Eucalyptus, Aloe, Lemon and Henna. It is also paraben- free
This variant comes in a light green bottle packaging with flip- top opener. It is also travel- friendly. All the ingredients and descriptions are printed on the back side of both the bottles. There is a very subtle fragrance of lemon and henna which is very refreshing , according to me and it lasts for quite some time after wash also. The shampoo is very mild in nature and one have to apply it at least twice to lather it properly. The conditioner also has a mild fragrance and it is indeed, very effective. It just smoothened my hair instantly. I , normally use the shampoo and Conditioner twice a week to get my hair dirt- free. Till now, I am loving the effect
Good things about it:
- Makes hair soft
- Paraben free
- Pocket- friendly
Not so good things:
- The shampoo is sulfactant based, which is not that good !
- As this variant is very mild in nature, the effect does not last more than 2-3 days.
I did not find any other cons till now. Definitely, worth the price you pay for !!
See you soon,
