Review : Wet n Wild Photo Focus Foundation

Hi Beauties

How are you all doing? Well, Christmas is around the corner and I hope you all are enjoying this festive season with your friends and family. Today,I am going to talk about the foundation that I have been using for quite some time now. But sadly, it was not available in Indian market until now. But Nykaa has heard us and launched …..Wet n Wild! Yes,this brand is one of my favourite drugstore brand with some outstanding stuffs. And the foundation which I am obsessed with is the most raved about foundation in the beauty world in 2017. Manny Mua, Tati even the Indian bloggers are amazed by this. It’s the Wet n Wild Photo Focus Foundation.

About The Product

Your skin, only better. Wet n Wild’s new high-performing,skin-perfecting foundation gives a matte and flawless finish to your skin.

  • High-performing,breath through formula
  • Featuring light-adjusting complex to help prevent white cast in photos.
  • Tested under 7 light conditions with and without the use of flash.

I bought the Wet n Wild foundation back in May when I travelled to US. It was just released there & I got the shade ‘Shell Ivory’ which was a perfect match for me. Sadly, Nykaa don’t have this shade now.In fact, the have come up with only 5 shades whereas this foundation has 20 different shades on their website to choose from.

The packaging is quite simple and fuss-free. It comes in a rectangular glass bottle with black cap with shuts perfectly. You can find a spatula, attached with the cap which you can use to apply the foundation evenly on your face & neck. You will find the shade name and all the necessary details on the bottle itself.

Wet n Wild Photo Focus foundation is smooth in texture and applies evenly on your skin. It has a weird chemical smell though which I personally, don’t like. Luckily,it doesn’t stay for long after you apply it on your skin and blends easily without much pressure. It gives medium to full coverage and hides all the blemishes and pigmentation quite easily. you can also layer up this foundation to get a fuller coverage. I,personally like my foundation to give a medium and natural finish. So, this is just perfect for me.

Also, I feel if you have more of a dry skin, you need to prep your skin well with proper moisturiser & primer. Otherwise,it will settle on some dry patches on your face. It stays on your skin for 5-6 hours without any touch-ups.

Good Things About It
  • Gives medium to full coverage
  • Ideal for photographs without any flashback
  • Cruelty-free product
  • An affordable option in Indian market right now
Not So Good Things About It
  • Clings to dry patches on your skin
  • Shade Limitation in Indian market as duskier beauties do not have any option
  • Does not feel hygienic always to use the spatula on your skin

Other than some of the minor problems, this foundation is something worth the money spent. It is one of the best drugstore foundation right know, all over the world. So, go on & give it a try!

Hope, we will get some more shades to choose from in future from Nykaa.

But its sad tht out of 20 shades nykaa has few
It’s too hard to find shade as per our skin else money waste

I like the post and flawless look and matt finishing is so good

I guess Lakme would be a nice choice as it is a big brand but I have been using liquid foundation from candylove which is a really great foundation all of used by me till date. I guess you should review them for once, you will surely love them.
