Review: St. Ives Fresh Skin Apricot Scrub

Hello Beauties

Those who are very much interested in trying out new & popular skincare products across the world ; St. Ives is not a stranger name to them. It is an universally acclaimed skincare brand which consists of Facial Scrubs, Moisturisers, Face Cleansing Sticks, Sheet Masks & what not ! These are everyone’s favourite and I am also a fan of this brand.

Review: St. Ives Fresh Skin Apricot Scrub

Recently, I got a chance to receive & review their newly revamped version of St. Ives Fresh Skin Apricot Scrub. These have been doing well in the market for quite some time now but recently, the brand changed their packaging & formula a little bit. This apricot scrub has also won the ‘Allure Readers’ Choice Award in the year 2016. St. Ives facial scrubs are the most talked about product in the town recently.

Packaging

There is nothing fancy about the packaging. It’s a typical tube with the flip top opening. You can find all the product details on the tube itself. Too simple yet effective.

Texture

The texture is quite coarse for my liking. I know, facial scrubs do have that tiny granules which removes the dead skin & impurities but St. Ives apricot scrub has too much grainy granules in it which can be a concern for sensitive skins. It may cause some redness or irritation to the skin. The smell is quite refreshing though.

My Personal Experience

I personally, like St. Ives as a brand. I have been using their products for so long now, even I am a fan of their Skin Collagen Cream. Also I have used their Oatmeal scrub & mask earlier. Now, coming to this apricot scrub, It is quite effective in removing all the impurities and gives a squeaky , clean face. The oil control is good too. But in a country like India, in summer, our skin become a little sensitive , so using this face scrub can be a little harsh on many. So, you have to be a little careful about that. It will work great as a body scrub, if you can understand what I mean ! I normally use it on my neck, elbow, hands as well. I found out that the Oatmeal scrub which I have used earlier had a gentle exfoliation factor, whereas, the apricot one has a deep exfoliation factor which results in some rough granules in it. You can find the level of exfoliation, marked on the back of the tube , i.e. Gentle, Moderate or Deep. Use twice a week.

Overall, St. Ives Fresh Skin Apricot Scrub is a decent buy . Using it once or twice a week can be a option in your skincare routine.

Let me know how you like it….

When I subscribed at their site for the first time, they made me fill up some information on my preferences for colors and brands etc. They also provided me the tracking details after the shipment and I got the package within 15 days after dispatching.

Here you can get all the details : https://lipmonthly.com
